Therapy where you can be you

A bit about me

My work is centered on co-creating a world of authenticity, equity, and well-being. There is power in being heard and understood, as you discover new possibilities and trust in your strengths.

As a psychotherapist, I have an eclectic, evidenced-based approach, honoring client’s unique stories, needs, values and goals. Informed by the approaches of Narrative Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, I build genuine, caring relationships and connections with clients so that they can thrive. I may not have all the answers, but I can help process and provide insights to help you clarify and take action on your path forward.

I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Additionally, I have a Ph.D. in Education and a Masters in Educational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. I also have certificate training in Queer Narrative Therapy and Climate Psychology.

A New York City lifer, I live with my partner, Alice, and our adorable rescue dog, Bear. Lots of hobbies; lots of adventures.

FAQs

  1. What are your rates?
Rates per session are $200 for individuals and $250 for partners therapy.

  2. Do you take insurance?
I practice as an out-of-network provider with insurance carriers. I recommend inquiring with your insurance carrier about any out-of-network benefit for therapy services.  I will provide you with a claim that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  3. Are sessions virtual or in-person?
All of my sessions take place virtually through a platform that is HIPAA compliant. It’s easy to navigate and still a powerful experience.

  4. Can I live anywhere?
Right now, only folks who live in New York State can sign up.

  5. What’s the first step?
You’ve already taken it! Just reading this and getting ready to reach out is important. NOW. Let’s do this. I offer free, 15-minute introductory calls to all new clients. On this call, we’ll start to get to know each other and discuss your needs and availability. No obligations.
